Hello everyone,

In this post I have discussed about overthinking. As we all now know that over thinking is the biggest problem among us and due to over thinking we have to face many difficulties in our life so I have discussed the signs and consequences of over-thinking in this post.


What does "overthinking" mean?


As we all know, Overthinking is when we think about the same thought over and over and worry about it.

You may feel stuck or unwilling to take action if you have a problem with overthinking. 

Overthinkers can be paralyzed by their worries and that is why it becomes difficult for them to make any kind of decision or action and Sometimes thinking too much can make things worse because it can be difficult to focus on anything else or get thoughts out of our mind.

And someone has rightly said that 

"overthinking is the biggest cause of unhappiness"

And remember always,

When the mind is surrounded by negative thoughts, it starts rusting and these negative thoughts arise from over-thinking.

Therefore, for peace of mind and happiness in life, one should stop overthinking at the earliest.

11 Signs of overthinking


1) You are constantly worried about something by thinking it too much in your mind.

Constant thinking is not a symptom of overthinking, but if you get stressed by constantly thinking about something too much, it is a symptom of overthinking.

2) You can't control your thoughts in your mind.

Many times we cannot control or stop the many thoughts going on in our mind and these thoughts keep running in our mind.
When we cannot control or stop our thoughts, it is definitely a sign of over-thinking.

3) Your attention does not seem to be in anything.

Sometimes we get lost in thinking too much that we don't pay attention to anything, we just worry about what is going on in our mind.

4) You feel completely stuck and unable to move on.

Sometimes we think so much that we get stuck in some situation and are unable to move forward.

5) You bring shameful moments to your mind over and over again.

6) Repeating your mistakes in mind.

You always repeat the mistakes you did in the past in your mind and by doing so you feel guilty.

7) You start doubting yourself in other aspects of your life.

Thinking too much leads to self doubt and self-doubting affects your self-confidence which is an important part of your development.

8) When you constantly remember conversations with people, you think about all the things you wish you had said or didn't say.

By doing this You disturb your peace of mind and hurt yourself

9) You spend your time thinking so much about people that why did he tell me this, if I say this to him then he feels bad

10) You waste your time thinking about the past and the future so much that you cannot live in the present.


So by this way overthinking destroys your right to live in the present.

11) You Don't Sleep Well

You start thinking so much about particular thing that you can't sleep well and this leads to health issues.

Consequences of over-thinking

Over-thinking has a lot of negative effects that affect our physical health but the most important negative effects are anxiety and depression that affect our mental health or the way we work and think.


So,

Don't think too much as it leads to over thinking and over thinking leads to anxiety and depression which eventually kills your inner peaceful mind.
