In this post I have discussed about overthinking. 

As we all now know that over thinking is the biggest problem among us and due to over thinking we have to face many difficulties in our life so I have discussed the tips to over come overthinking in this post

so if you have this problem then you should start working on it.


If you want to overcome overthinking, remember that it will not happen immediately, you have to have some patience because you cannot break it completely at once, but can gradually break the cycle of over-thinking.


So follow these tips to overcome overthinking

1) Recognize Your Pattern of Overthinking 

The first step is to know the way you think in order to change or stop the thoughts that keep popping up in your head.

So know why you are overthinking and what kinds of thoughts are you constantly thinking and then ask yourself why are you overthinking? Do you need to think more?


2) Let go of the past and move on

We are mostly buried under the burden of the mistake of our past and we are lost in some memories of the past and because of this we are not able to move forward and thinking this we waste all our time.

So to stop overthinking and stop wasting time, we should leave our past and move on.


3) Don't worry about the future live in the present

Worrying about the future, we start thinking so much that we forget to live in the present.

But you have to ask yourself a question that why are you worrying about the future when your future is made by what you do in the present.

So stop worrying about the future and focus on your present.


4) Write down your thoughts on page

You can write all your thoughts on paper which are constantly coming in your mind.


5) Stop thoughts by diverting yourself to other things

Whenever you feel that you are thinking too much or overthinking about something, then you should focus your attention on something that you are not able to over-think.

You can divert your attention by doing your hobbies like painting, reading and writing and listing music

So doing other things of your choice can avoid overthinking.


6) keep your focus on solutions rather than problems

Sometimes we pay more attention to the problem and worry only thinking about it, but we forget that nothing is going to come except crying thinking about the problem.

Why do you need to worry about the problem? It's better to think about how to solve that problem, because that will solve the problem.

So,keep your focus on solutions rather than problems


7) Take control of your emotions

Sometimes we are not able to control our emotions and emotions start popping up in our mind in the form of thoughts which eventually leads to exaggeration.

So Take control of your emotions to stop Overthinking


8) Stop being a perfectionist

To make ourselves perfect, we start blaming ourselves for that which is not in our control.

But always remember that no one is perfect in this world, if someone makes a mistake, then do not blame yourself for those things that will happen to you by mistake.

So stop being a perfectionist


9) Don't tell yourself negative things.

Sometimes we tell ourselves negative things and feel guilty for what we cannot control but by doing so we are only hurting ourselves


10) Tell positive things to yourself

Affirmations are best to overcome this.

You just have to say this affirmation to yourself everyday.


11) Meditation

Meditation is the best way to stop the thoughts running in our mind and to have a calm mind. Therefore, do meditation daily to keep the mind calm.


12) Be grateful

Sometimes we start worrying thinking what we don't have but we forget that many people don't have what we have so be happy with what you have and what God gave you Be grateful to him.


overthinking is such a worm living in the mind that slowly eats up all your energy.

And think about it Why do you waste your energy in overthinking when you can use your energy to achieve your goal?
